Fish Curry
This mouth watering Fish Curry is extremely popular. A heart healthy dish. Enjoy with either rice or roti.

Ingredients
Cooking oil
5 table spoon
Corainder powder
2 tea spoon
Fenugreek leaves dried
1 pinch
Fish steaks big pieces
2
Ginger garlic paste
1/2 tea spoon each
Green Chilli
1
Mustard seeds
1 pinch
Onion
1/2
Red chilli pepper powder
1/2 tea spoon
Salt
1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder
1/4 tea spoon
Water
3/4 cup
Yogurt
3 table spoon
Method
Steps using a pressure cooker - if you do not have a pressure cooker adjust cooking time to make sure fish is cooked and tender.
Thinly slice onion and ry i 5 table spoon of oil till medium brown
Remove fried onions and set aside on paper towel. Leave oil in cooker
Fry mustard seeds in the oil for one minute on medium heat
Add all spices to the cooker and fry for another two minutes add some water while frying
Blend yogurt and fried onions together forming a light brown paste
Transfer yogurt paste to pressure cooker and cook with spices
Cook on medium heat, keep on stirring till the paste turns grainy, the water should evaporate and you should see the oil seperate
Using kitchen knife of scissors cut fish stakes to two inches pieces
Add the fish to the cooker. Add green chilli and water to the cooker and close the lid, cook on high heat
Wait till pressure builds ( one whistle) after that turn the heat to medium and cook for another 3 minutes
Turn off the heat. When safe open the cooker and serve
Garnish with dry fenugreek leaves
Eat with Roti or Rice
